Until recently I was not collecting the Yosemite views of C. L. Pond although I had a few, such as Hutchings Hotel.

I became more interested after reading Gary D. Lowe's "Before the Works - the Bancroft-Pond-Houseworth Tourist Party Among the Big Trees May 1871".

Then at the NSA convention in Irvine, CA in August 2017 I bought about thirty of the Pond views, mainly because they were in such good condition. And since then I added three views of a Snow Shed of the C.P.R.R.
